Walks on the west of Brest
Plouzané, Guilers, Brest west... And even Saint-Renan.
With the signposted circuit "Aux sources de l'Ildut", created by the teams of Brest métropole, hikers set off for 25 km, between paths, small roads and a landscape of bocage dotted with granite farms.
The Keroual manor, renovated at the end of the 17th century, stands just a kilometre away.
The path also leads to the oldest rural district of Guilers, where the wet meadows contain an abundant flora and a great diversity of birds, to the Bodonou chapel, where the statue of the Virgin and Child dating from the first half of the 16th century is located...
Further on, the hiker will arrive at Saint-Renan, where the old houses stand next to a colourful Saturday morning market.
