Walks in Brest
With its 800 hectares of green spaces spread over its eight municipalities, 435 hectares of which are in the city of Brest alone, the Brest metropolis opens its doors wide to those who want to enjoy it.
Whether they bear witness to history (gardens of the Marine Academy...), are true lookouts (Beautemps-Beaupré garden...) with exceptional views of the harbour, or whether they house plant collections (Kerbonne garden), the gardens of Brest reveal a clear interest.
Less central, but accessible within ten minutes of the city centre, very large urban parks (Keroual woods...) cover 174 hectares.
Finally, it is impossible no to mention the wetlands and wooded areas, green lungs of the city, scattered all over the territory, some of which offer sporting trails for nature lovers (Arc'hantel park, Costour valley...).
Take a small detour to the Jardin des Explorateurs, in the district of Recouvrance, in Brest, and to the Cam valley, in Guipavas.
